Mobile coffee bar - Terms of service.
Effective Date: 15th March 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Jack Miller Coffee (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers booking services (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We deliver and set up our mobile coffee bar with all relevant equipment and serve drinks (and food if required) at the event.
The exact format, duration, and content of the service will be agreed at the time of booking.
2. Location & Travel
Travel is charged at £0.45 per mile from the business address OX18 2DX (return journey).
3. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once the deposit payment and signed agreement have been received. Dates cannot be held without a deposit.
4. Payment Terms
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
5. Cancellation Policy
More than 60 days before event: deposit retained
30–59 days: 50% of total booking fee payable
Less than 30 days: full booking fee payable
(This protects you from last-minute cancellations where you cannot rebook the date.)
6. Service Time
The booking includes the agreed service hours.
Additional service time requested on the day will be charged at £120 per hour.
7. Location & Access
The client must ensure:
Adequate space for the coffee bar setup
Safe access for loading/unloading
Access to power
If the location changes it must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event.
Additional travel/setup fees may apply if locations change significantly.
8. Dietary Requirements
We will provide gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan options where requested.
However:
Products are prepared in environments where allergens may be present.
We cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
9. Weather (Outdoor Events)
For outdoor events the client must provide:
Adequate shelter for the coffee bar
Level ground for safe operation
Service may be paused if weather conditions make operation unsafe.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (extreme weather, illness, equipment failure, etc.), we will make every reasonable effort to fulfil the booking or provide a suitable alternative.
11. Liability
We have public liability insurance and take care to provide safe and professional training. However:
We are not responsible for damage to your equipment during normal use in training sessions.
We are not liable for any injuries sustained during training unless caused by our negligence.
Our total liability is limited to the value of the training session purchased.
12. Data Protection
We will collect and store your contact details solely for the purpose of delivering the requested services. We will never share your data with third parties without your consent, except where legally required.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
