Our mission.

At the heart of it all, this business is about more than just coffee. It's about investing in people, bringing communities together and not settling for second best.

At Jack Miller Coffee, we believe coffee is more than a drink—it’s an experience, a craft, and a connection. Our mission is to inspire curiosity and confidence in every learner, from aspiring professionals to passionate home brewers. Through hands-on training and immersive experiences we empower people to explore the rich world of coffee, develop new skills, and create memorable moments.

Taking Inspiration

Jack has spent almost a decade in the specialty coffee industry; honing his skills in training, mentoring, and creating exceptional coffee experiences.

His passion was sparked whilst working at a family-owned roastery on Vancouver Island. Their eagerness to share techniques, skills and knowledge inspired Jack to want to do the same. It was here that he was first encouraged to train wholesale clients and mentor new baristas.

Since then, Jack has worked across cafés, roasteries, and training roles, helping others build their confidence and skills behind the machine, often thinking back to how he was made to feel in his early days of learning. He has worked with and drawn inspiration from many other talented and enthusiastic coffee professionals along the way.

After a recent redundancy, he had a choice: see it as a setback, or turn it into an opportunity, and take the leap he’d been dreaming of for years.
